I have several domains and want different SSL certs for all of them. The problem is it seems that the mod_ssl used with my Apache 2.2 doesn't support virtual hosting with SSL. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to actually get it to work or another SSL add on for Apache that does support multiple virtual hosts?
Thanks in advance. _________________ http://www.devushkau.8m.com/sitemap.xml |

My understanding of SSL certificates is that they can only be issued to one IP address. A possible work-around might be making the other domains subdomains of one "main domain", or you can get a block of IP addresses fairly cheap (I don't think it's that much a month) _________________ Microsoft isn't evil, they just make really crappy operating systems.

from my ISP IPs cost $5.95 per month. I know this can be done. I have a friend who is also trying to get this to work, they host several websites that all have SSL certs, but because we havn't gotten it to work yet they are forced to use Windows Server 2003 to do it. Also if you look at some hosting companies (like 1&1), they run Linux and hany people all share 1 computer with 1 IP address and yet all domains have seperate SSL certs. _________________ http://www.devushkau.8m.com/sitemap.xml |
